Britax recalls strollers due to possible fingertip amputations and lacerations

An online report published by the Huffington Post on January 30 revealed Britax Child Safety Inc. has issued a recall of approximately 216,000 strollers following reports of partial fingertip amputations and severe lacerations.

The South Carolina-based company received eight incident reports, which include a case of partial fingertip amputation and several cases of cut fingers. The recalled single and double strollers B-Agile, Agile Double, and BOB Motion were sold at major stores throughout the U.S. and online retailers between May 2011 and June 2013.

The strollers were sold in different colors for $250 to $450.
